XVis Terms of Service

XVis is a rugby communications platform providing live match centres, team sheets, club profiles, fan engagement tools, and related features to rugby clubs and their supporters ("Service"). Features and functionality may change, be added, or be withdrawn from time to time.

2.1 Account types. The Service supports club administrator accounts ("Club Admins") and fan accounts ("Fans"), with different levels of access and functionality.

2.2 Accuracy. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

2.3 Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@xvis.live if you suspect unauthorised access.

2.4 Eligibility. You must be at least 16 years old to create a fan account. Club Admin accounts must be created by an individual authorised to act on behalf of the club.

3.1 Plans. Clubs may subscribe to XVis on a Base or Pro plan, billed monthly or annually, at the rates published on xvis.live at the time of subscription. Current pricing is £25/month (£250/year) for Base and £65/month (£650/year) for Pro. Pro includes additional features not available on Base, including the ability to feature a club sponsor on the match centre and to manage multiple named squads (e.g. 1st XV, 2nd XV, Colts).

3.2 Payment processing. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms. XVis does not store your full payment card details.

3.3 Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with clause 3.5. You authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method for each renewal.

3.4 Price changes. We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

3.5 Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time via the billing management portal available in your club account settings, or by contacting hello@xvis.live. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are given for the remainder of a billing period unless required by law. On cancellation, features exclusive to your prior plan (such as a featured sponsor or additional named squads) will stop being available, though associated data is retained in accordance with Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

3.6 Downgrade on non-payment. If a payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable period, we may downgrade the club account to a free or limited tier, or suspend access, until payment is made.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to post false, defamatory, or misleading match or club information;
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes another party's intellectual property;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another club's account or data;
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service, including through automated scraping outside of the provided embed/API functionality;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

5.1 Club content. Clubs retain ownership of the content they upload (badges, squad information, match content, etc.). By uploading content, you grant XVis a licence to host, display, and distribute it through the Service, including via the embeddable match centre widget, for as long as your account is active.

5.2 Fan content. Any content fans submit (comments, profile information) remains theirs, subject to the same licence granted to XVis for the purpose of operating the Service.

5.3 Removal. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

Clubs that have not registered may appear on XVis as "guest" listings using publicly available information (e.g. fixtures, club name). Guest listings are informational only, are not followable, and do not appear in the main club browser. A club or its authorised representative may request removal or claim a guest listing by contacting hello@xvis.live.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that our Privacy Policy applies.

The XVis name, logo, platform design, and underlying software are the property of XVis Sports Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, and features may be modified or withdrawn, with reasonable notice where practical.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, XVis Sports Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@xvis.live. Clauses which by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 10, and 13) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email to Club Admins. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
